Glass Heritage Centre in Krosno is an unusual place on the tourist map of Poland. It is dedicated to almost one hundred – year - old history of glass industry in Podkarpackie voivodeship, in particular in Krosno. Glass Heritage Centre, which has been working for almost 5 years, lets the city inhabitants, but first of all tourists from Poland and all over the world, discover the magic of creating glass and learn the secrets of this craft.
The most important attractions of the Centre are interactive shows of production and decoration of glass, in which tourists can take active part. In the basement cellars and in the temporary exhibition hall you can see exhibitions presenting both art glass made by the best Polish creators and utility glass – wonderful examples of the highest quality of workmanship design. For tourist wishing to develop their creativity we have prepared plastic arts education activities and a rich offer of cultural and entertainment events.
The heart of this facility is a fully equipped glassworks, which, apart from glass making demonstrations, shows hand - molded and decorated art and utility glass.
