Organizers once again warmly invite all European Chess Federations and players to participate in the European Youth Team Chess Championship 2017.
Opening ceremony EYTCC
Today, on August 17 at 2.30 p.m. in „STOMIL” in Rymanów Zdrój opening ceremony European Youth Team Chess Championship. At the opening appeared male and female players, their coaches, captains and heads of delegations.
Press conference
At 13.00 in STOMIL in Rymanów Zdrój held a press conference prior to the European Youth Team Chess Championships. The event attended: the representative of the European Chess Union Adrian Mikhalchishin, President the President of the Polish Chess Federation Adam Dzwonkowski, Mayor of Rymanów Wojciech Farbaniec, the President of the Board at STOMIL Company in Rymanów Zdrój Agnieszka Fornal-Urban, Polish Team Trainer Marek Matlak and the Chief Arbiter Tomasz Delega.

Europe will visit Rymanow Zdroj in 2 days. Soon, one of the biggest chess events for juniors in Europe will begin.
Our Championship will break the existing record
A total number of 39 teams representing 16 countries will take part in the EYTCC, 21 teams will play in the open section and 18 teams in girl’s section.
The tournament will be the strongest in a history, 72 players with international titles will compete there.
Glass Studio Habrat - Artistic Glass Studio made trophies for winners
Glass Studio Habrat-Artistic Glass Studio creates unique pieces like sculptures, hanging objects, small decorative items and glazings . All glassware are designed and made in fusing technique by Maciej Habrat, an artist who graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass.

Ukraine will also compete in the Championship
Gold and bronze medallists will play in the girl’s section and open section.
